Ben Russell
UK Ambassador
Ben’s career was born in Somerset and then fast-tracked in London. At the age of nineteen Ben was working in a busy West End salon as well as teaching at an academy.
Ben was mentored by a number of the industry’s leading hairdressers during his five year stint in London which helped him achieve some of the top awards in the global industry. Ben then moved to Melbourne, Australia and became part of the Australian FAME Team, which allowed him to travel to London, Paris and Rome to share is passion.
After a two-year stint in Melbourne, Ben left his salon manager role at one of Australia’s most respected hairdressers, as well as his loyal clientele, to head back to England and pursue his own dream of building a leading hair salon.
Ben opened his salon Ben Russell Salon in Somerset shortly before joining the Elgon UK team as our UK ambassador.
